Pairing Process and Destination Preferences
Through our pairing process we will try to match you with students of the same gender and similar ages or year/grade. Thus, we will collect all your basic details through your application which your family submits through this site. We then do a global review of all applicants which includes a school check and students' destination preferences, year group/grade, age and gender.
Our goal is to maximise the number of students that can participate in the programme. In the application you will have the opportunity to select your top 3 regions where there are ISP schools - you won’t select a specific school. This is to increase the chances of successful pairing you with an incredible buddy!
You then will make the final choice on the proposed match. If you decline it, your name will be moved to the bottom of the line. If you accept it, get ready because the adventure is just starting!
